RESEARCH
We believe that a well-balanced plastic surgery training program should include a strong research component. These efforts are supported by our research department, which maintains an ongoing prospective surgical registry and promotes resident involvement in clinical research. Research produced within our department has been presented at several major regional and national meetings, including the Plastic Surgery Research Council (PSRC) Annual Meeting, American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS) Annual Meeting, The Aesthetic MEET, and Plastic Surgery The Meeting (PSTM). The research conducted at our center not only contributes to advancing patient care and improving surgical outcomes but also serves as an important complement to resident education by fostering critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and academic development.
