Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency
General Information

Larkin Community Hospital’s surgical residency program strives to provide a well-rounded teaching environment for students and residents. Under the leadership of Dr. Francis Wodie, and Dr. Peter Hanna, the PMSR/RRA program at Larkin Community Hospital provides it’s residents with hands-on training in up-to-date techniques of foot and ankle surgery. The program places a strong emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with experiences in complex surgical technique such as total ankle replacement, ankle and rearfoot arthrodesis, Flat foot reconstruction, hallux valgus, broad spectrum of soft tissue pathology and diabetic limb salvage. Our residents are integrated closely with all other medical services in the hospital setting including Internal medicine, vascular, orthopedics etc, and are offered a well-rounded training experience producing strong and capable physicians.

Palm Springs Campus

Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency
General Information

Residency at Larkin Community Hospital – Palm Springs Campus focuses on all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. The program offers surgical experience ranging from elective forefoot, rearfoot and reconstructive surgery with an emphasis on total ankle replacement surgery. Visitation is highly recommended for consideration.
