PROGRAM DESIGN 

The fellow participates in rotations including Mohs Micrographic Surgery and dermatologic Oncology, Cosmetic and laser, Dermatology, Radiation Oncology and Ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive Surgery to provide comprehensive clinical training in dermatologic oncology, cutaneous surgery, reconstructive surgery, dermatopathology, and cosmetic dermatology.

The program provides structured didactic activities with guidelines encouraging the Fellows to interact professionally with colleagues, faculty, medical and non-medical staff, other healthcare providers, patients, and families. One didactic activities of the GME department includes workshops, where Fellows must address coworker interactions following our institutional protocols, managing formal complaint procedures under ethical standards, patient procedural issues, how to respond to inappropriate patient behaviors, and other topics related to professionalism and cultural diversity issues.

10.5 months – Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology
0.5 month – Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
0.5 month – Radiation Oncology
0.5 month – Cosmetic & Laser Dermatology
