PROGRAM DESIGN
The Geriatric Fellowship Program is designed to provide the basic biological and psychological aspects of aging and clinical knowledge of gerontology and geriatrics through academic activities as well as clinical rotations in different medical settings. This will provide the fellows the experience needed to work in multidisciplinary teams, the opportunity to deliver medical care, and a place to practice their acquired knowledge. Here they will develop the skills to make recommendations about preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic options based on clinical judgment, scientific evidence and patient preference.
