PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Infectious Disease Fellowship program offered at Larkin Community Hospital and Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus encompasses a comprehensive clinical training with the most current approaches to prevention, clinical diagnosis, and best practices guidelines for in-patient and out-patient clinical management of Infectious Disease. The main goal of the program is to train the best possible physicians and future leaders in the community. The program offers fellows to utilize the ample clinical and current research experiences in modern Infectious Diseases. The program is a two-year fellowship program ACGME-accredited program set at multiple campuses, with innovative care with a variety of diversity in patient population while emphasizing care in the underserved and multicultural population. The program is designed to provide the fellows with the tools to be able be prepared for Board certification and for the possibility to become private practice attending as well as clinical educators and researchers in the field while providing the best clinical care in a compassionate and effective manner.
