MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR

Welcome to the Larkin Community Hospital Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship Program!

I encourage you to please explore our website to learn about us. We are an ACGME accredited 3-year GI fellowship training program located in beautiful Miami, FL. We offer 3 positions per year. Your clinical training experience will be comprehensive and diverse with our nine clinical training sites. Our goal is to train the next generation of community gastroenterologists. As a fellow here at Larkin, you will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple teaching attendings whose interest and expertise extend to all areas of digestive disease. The endoscopic training exposure is broad, and our curriculum ensures all the fellows develop into exceptional general GI endoscopists. The fellows are also exposed to advanced endoscopy procedures (ERCP and EUS).

I am committed to the training of GI fellows here at Larkin, and ensuring the learning environment is learner focused and responsive to the need of our fellows. I review each aspect of our educational program on a daily basis with direct fellow input and implement any necessary improvements. While I realize there are many options for fellowship training, I assure you the experience at Larkin GI will be the best community-based GI training experience one can have. I look forward to meeting you one day!
