PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The LCH/LECOM Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program is an ACGME-accredited postgraduate training program of four years in length, following graduation from a Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) or Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accredited medical school and successful completion of an ACGME-accredited preliminary/internship year. This program has been designed with the purpose of providing comprehensive postdoctoral training in Diagnostic Radiology and competency in Interventional Radiology. The strength of this program is the wide spectrum of disease processes and radiological procedures delivered at the base institutions in collaboration with our affiliated training sites. Excellence in medical education, combined with advanced patient care, shall be the main purpose of this residency program. We are proud to announce a current 100 percent pass rate for the radiology board exam which is attributable to our robust curriculum focused on case-based learning and supplementary question banks which are paid for by the program.

Larkin Radiology is a close-knit small group of highly dedicated and motivated future radiologists. We pride ourselves in interpersonal communication and work together to provide a family-oriented program that values resident well-being and happiness.

In addition to a wide variety of guest lecturers from renowned subspecialists across the country, Larkin Radiology’s Academic Program Director Dr. Paul Koenigsberg provides didactic topics on personal investing, loan repayment, purchasing all types of insurance, as well as contract negotiations.

We are proud to announce a current 100 percent CORE board exam pass rate for our R4 residents.
