AEGD Preceptorship Program

The Larkin Community Hospital preceptorship program is offered to non-ADA dental graduates seeking admission into an ADA-CODA accredited AEGD residency. The objective is for the Preceptee to become familiar with an AEGD post-doctoral clinical and didactic education.

The Preceptorship Program is a one year non-degree offering program, in which the preceptee receives Continuing Dental Education Credits, through the LCH Graduate Dental Education Department, approved by the Florida Board of Dentistry/CE Broker. Upon completion of the program the individual will receive a letter of completion and a certificate.

Preceptees in the Preceptorship Program will attend seminars/courses with the post graduate dental residents and will be assigned to the post graduate affiliated dental clinics or faculty dental practices to develop clinical expertise and treatment planning skills while observing and assisting in the program areas. The preceptee may also receive exposure to ongoing research projects.
